A joint statement said today, Monday, that Abu Dhabi institutions have identified investment opportunities in South Korea by about two billion dollars, after the two sides agreed to expand trade relations in January.
During the visit of South Korean President Yoon Sok-yol to Abu Dhabi in January, the UAE discussed investing in sectors including energy and information technology.
So far, Abu Dhabi institutions have helped identify potential investment opportunities in Korea worth nearly $2 billion.
The statement did not elaborate on potential investments and the two sides have been exploring investment opportunities since the summit.
