Arada announced the award of a main contract worth 475 million dirhams to Gulf Asia Contracting Company, for the construction of the Vida Aljada hotel complex, located in the integrated Aljada community in the heart of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates.
Under the contract, the Vida Aljada Hotel will be built with a capacity of 175 rooms, in addition to 255 luxury apartments under the Vida brand, and 149 serviced apartments, all of which are located in the new cultural district of Aljada in the heart of the Emirate of Sharjah, according to Emirati newspaper Al Khaleej.
The contract was awarded to Gulf Asia Contracting, which is headquartered in Dubai and has a proven track record of civil and industrial construction projects across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Qatar. The construction works of the Vida Aljada Hotel Compound will begin immediately and are expected to be completed within 30 months.
Vida Aljada, owned by Arada, which is developing it under the management of the Vida Hotels and Resorts brand, is the first of three hotels to be built in the avenue under a partnership agreement with Emaar Hospitality Group, which also includes the construction of the Address - Aljada and Rove - Aljada hotels.

Vida Aljada is located in the heart of the main Aljada scheme in the Emirate of Sharjah, with a total sales value of 24 billion dirhams.
