The financial statements of Saudi Aramco revealed that the company’s profits in the second quarter increased by 90.3% on an annual basis, to reach 181.64 billion riyals, compared to the profits of the same period last year, which amounted to 95.47 billion riyals.

The company's revenues in the second quarter of this year amounted to about 562.07 billion riyals, compared to 312.35 billion riyals in the same period of the previous year, an increase of 80%.

The company said in a statement to the Saudi market (Tadawul), today, Sunday, that the increase in profits during the comparison periods is due to the increase in crude oil prices and quantities sold, and the increase in profit margins for the refining business.

The company achieved profits of 329.67 billion riyals in the first half of this year, compared to 176.91 billion riyals in profits for the same period last year, an increase of 86.4%.

Revenues for the first half of this year amounted to 1029.07 billion riyals, compared to 584.43 billion riyals in the first half of 2021, an increase of 76.1%.
