UAE-based Emaar Malls reported a 70% drop in first-half 2020 profits to reach 345 million dirhams.
According to Arabiya Net, the company attributed the decline in its profits to a 26% decline in rental income to reach 1.66 billion dirhams.
Namshi's revenue increased 57% to 660 million dirhams.
This comes at a time when various retail and shopping sectors in the world have been affected by the closure and mandatory quarantine to confront the Corona pandemic.
