The financial statements of the famous German bank, Deutsche Bank, showed profits that exceeded expectations during the three months ending September 30, 2021, making the bank the longest quarterly profit streak since 2012 .
According to the bank's results, the quarterly profit amounted to about 194 million euros, much higher than analysts' forecasts of 135 million euros during the third quarter of this year.
The German bank announced a decrease in revenues in its investment banking unit, but it managed to exceed expectations and recorded profits that continued for the fifth consecutive quarter, according to CNBC Arabia.< /p>
The bank said that fixed income and currency trading saw net revenue decline 12% year-on-year as markets showed less volatility.
