The financial statements of L'azurde Company for Jewelry showed an increase in the company's profits in the first half of this year by 22% year on year.

According to the company’s results for the Saudi market (Tadawul), today, Monday, the profits for the period amounted to 22.2 million riyals, compared to profits for the same period last year, which amounted to 18.2 million riyals.

The company said in a statement to the stock exchange that the increase in profits during the comparison periods is due to the increase in revenues, including those resulting from the increase in the value of the gold metal, noting that the group's operating income rose 3.3% after deducting the value of the gold metal.

The group's total revenues at the end of the first half of this year amounted to about 1.039 billion riyals, compared to 1.027 billion riyals in the same period last year, a growth of 1.15%.

In the second quarter of this year, the company achieved profits of 8.5 million riyals, compared to 8 million riyals in profits for the same period last year, an increase of 6.25%.
