Emaar Misr - a subsidiary of the Emirati Emaar Group - has launched the first phase of a new project in the North Coast under the name (Soul) at an estimated cost of 53 billion pounds (2.8 billion dollars).

According to a statement published by the company on the Egyptian Stock Exchange website, yesterday, Monday, (Soul), a residential, tourist and commercial project, will extend over an area of 518 acres, to build 2,500 units, in partnership with Eagle Hills Egypt, which will own 25% of the project.

Emaar Misr did not mention the date of implementation of the project or the date of its completion.

Emaar Misr is currently implementing projects in Cairo such as Uptown Cairo and Marassi in the North Coast.
