Claudio Descalzi, CEO of Italy's Eni Group, announced that the company had proposed building vital refineries in Abu Dhabi.
According to Reuters, Descalzi said in an online conference, technology has become a negotiating sheet to speak a different language ... in the oil and gas fields.
and recently Eni entered into a series of oil and gas agreements in Abu Dhabi, including the purchase of a 20 percent stake in ADNOC Refining.
The major Italian oil company has focused on developing new green technology in the past few years as it ramps up preparations for a carbon-free future.
