During the first half of 2021, Care's profits grew 12.7%, to 66 million riyals, compared to 58.9 million riyals, in the corresponding period of last year.

Raiya said that the increase in its quarterly profits year on year was due to several factors, including the increase in revenues due to the increase in admissions and surgeries compared to last year, and the impact on the growth in the resulting revenues. of cash patients and insurance patients in the previous year due to the government's imposition of curfews and closures, which led to a decrease in the number of patients visiting.

Decreased sales and marketing expenses due to reduced provision for doubtful debts, lower costs due to savings in controllable spending, increased absorption and reduced overheads.

The company stated that the gains were partially offset by an increase in expenses for medical and consumables, a decrease in other revenues, and an increase in the amount of zakat for the period due to the increase in the company's zakat base.
