And by 9:35 am Qatar time, the general index rose by 0.42% to reach 10490.17 point, gaining 44.06 points from last Thursday's level.
The stock market's trading value at that time amounted to 40.99 million riyals, distributed over 21.73 million shares, with 878 transactions executed.
And the performance of the session was supported by a collective rise of the sectors, led by real estate, by 5.23%, while the list of increases appended the industrial sector by 0.08%.
The share of the Mannai Complex topped the red list by 2.34%, while Barwa topped the gains by 9.97%.
