According to CNBC Arabia, the Japanese automaker reported that one of the recall campaigns included 268,000 CR-V cars produced in the years 2002-2006 in the United States to replace The main switches to control the electric windows. The company said that no injuries were reported, but 16 fires related to this problem were reported.
Honda had previously recalled cars in 2012 to replace the main switches for electric windows. The new recall is in response to a moisture-related defect in the switches repaired during the previous campaign.
