The UAE announced the prices of gasoline and diesel for the month of August, inclusive of value-added tax (5%), and the application of prices starts from today, Monday.

Petroleum companies in the UAE set the price of gasoline (98 premium) at 4.03 dirhams, compared to 4.63 dirhams last July, a decrease of 13%.

With the same percentage of decline, the price of gasoline (95 special) decreased from 4.52 dirhams in July to 3.92 dirhams in August.

The price of gasoline (91 E Plus) also decreased from 3.84 dirhams in July to 4.44 dirhams in August, a decrease of 13%, or the equivalent of 0.60 dirhams.

The price of diesel also decreased by 13% to reach in August 4.14 dirhams, compared to 4.76 last July.
