Saudi Airlines resumes its flights to Qatar

Saudi Arabian Airlines announced the resumption of flights from Riyadh and Jeddah to the Qatari capital, Doha, with 7 flights per week.

According to Arabiya Net, Saudi Airlines announced that it will operate 4 flights a week from Riyadh, and 3 flights a week from Jeddah, and its first flight will be from Riyadh to Doha on Monday January 11 at 4:40 pm Riyadh time.

The statement of the 41st summit of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf in Al-Ula emphasized the unity of ranks and the solidarity of the Gulf states in the face of threats and interference.

The Al-Ula statement also emphasized turning the page on the past in a way that preserves the security and stability of the Gulf. It was agreed not to violate the sovereignty and security of any country, and to coordinate political positions to enhance the role of the Council Cooperation, as well as combating those that threaten the security of the Gulf states, and strengthening cooperation in combating terrorist organizations.

The Saudi Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, confirmed during a joint press conference with the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council that the signing of the agreement completely collapses the dispute with Qatar.

For his part, the Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Nayef Al-Hajraf, affirmed that the Gulf countries usually overcome all challenges with strength and determination, noting that the Al-Ula statement emphasized the lofty goals of the Council Gulf cooperation, and strengthening the bonds of friendship and brotherhood among the countries of the Council.
