The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has announced the start of the Riyadh bus project, the preliminary operation phase, in preparation for the full reception of passengers after the completion of all tests.

The Riyadh Metro Project, through its official Twitter account, clarified that the network's extensive testing program involves examining all aspects of bus operations.

He pointed out that the tests also included ensuring the accuracy of appointments, the skills of bus drivers, the extent of adherence to safety procedures, and taking into account traffic patterns, in addition to testing more than 3,000 A station and a stopping point spread across the network's 80 lanes.

He also pointed out that the date for receiving passengers, ticket prices, and activating their purchase channels, including electronic applications, will be announced later.

He indicated that the Riyadh bus network, as part of this plan, will be subject to a rigorous testing program to ensure that all equipment, devices and operating systems meet the highest international standards for safety, efficiency, quality and comfort.
