The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud approved 6 incentive initiatives for establishments Operating in the Hajj and Umrah sector, in order to mitigate the financial and economic repercussions of the Corona pandemic on individuals, private sector establishments and investors.
The initiatives were:
1- Exemption of accommodation facilities from annual fees for municipal business licenses for a period of one year in The cities of Makkah and Madinah. P>
2- Exemption of Hajj and Umrah sector establishments from the fee for expatriates working for 6 years Months. P>
3- Renewing licenses of the Ministry of Tourism for a period of one year free of charge for accommodation facilities in the cities of Makkah Al-Mukarramah Medina is extendable.
4- Initiatives to postpone the collection of residency renewal fees for expatriates working in activities related to the sector. Hajj and Umrah for a period of 6 months, provided that the amounts are to be paid in installments over a period of one year.
5- Extending the validity of licenses (forms) for buses operating in guest transport facilities Rahman without charge for a period of (one year). P>
6- Postponing the collection of customs duties for new buses for the 1442 Hajj season for a period of 3 months and paying them in installments 4 months from the due date.
The Saudi government launched more than 150 initiatives whose allocations exceeded 180 billion riyals, with the aim of Confronting the repercussions of the Corona pandemic and mitigating its effects on individuals, the private sector and investors, according to Al-Arabiya website.
