The Board of Directors of Banque Saudi Fransi decided, during its board of directors meeting held yesterday, Tuesday, to distribute cash dividends to shareholders for the first half of 2023 at a rate of 9.50%, equivalent to 0.95 riyals per share after deducting zakat.
The bank stated, according to a statement issued today, Wednesday, on Tadawul, that the total amount distributed is 1.14 billion riyals, distributed over 1.199 billion shares.
The bank added that the dividend eligibility date will be for the shareholders who own the bank’s shares at the end of trading on Thursday, August 3, and who are registered in the company’s shareholder register with the Securities Depository Center Company (Edaa) at the end of the second trading day following the eligibility date.
The results of Banque Saudi Fransi, in the second quarter of 2023, revealed an increase in net profits by 28.2%, compared to the same quarter of 2022, as the net profit increased to 1.07 billion riyals, compared to 837 million riyals, for the second quarter of last year.
The bank stated that the increase in net profit is due to the increase in total operating income by 25.51%, which came mainly as a result of the increase in net special commission income and net trading income.
