China has tightened travel procedures for its citizens to confront the Corona virus.
And according to Arab Net, China recorded the highest daily toll of local infections with the Corona virus in 6 months, at a time when a campaign of examinations and tracing of contacts revealed a series of infections with the delta mutant.
Health authorities have reported 71 locally transmitted infections, the highest since January 2021, at a time when China is fighting the largest outbreak of the virus in months by conducting checks on entire cities and isolating millions of people.
The official results of those tests revealed a low number of infections, despite the virus reaching dozens of major cities.
And last March, China launched a digital passport for its citizens that allows them to prove their health while traveling to and from abroad.
This digital certificate, which shows whether the holder has received the vaccine or not, as well as the results of the Corona virus test, is available to Chinese citizens via a program on the Chinese social media platform WeChat.
