The Egyptian Minister of Trade and Industry, Nevin Gamea, said yesterday, Saturday, that the month of July witnessed a growth in exports by 4% on an annual basis, from the level of 2.021 billion dollars to 2.095 billion dollars. dollars.
It clarified that the trade deficit came despite the achievement of Egyptian non-oil exports during the first 7 months of 2021, a significant increase of 22%, to reach $17.7 billion, compared to $14.5 billion during the same period last year.
On the other hand, imports rose from $38 billion to $42.4 billion, an increase of 11% during the comparison period.
