Iraqis will vote in the fifth general parliamentary elections since 2003, starting today, Sunday.
Polling stations in Iraq opened their doors to voters this morning, as polling continues until 6 pm local time in the country.
The voter base in Iraq includes about 24.19 million voters, distributed among 8,223 polling stations.
The voters will recommend and choose among 3,200 candidates vying for the 329 seats in the Iraqi parliament.
