Saudi Chemical Holding Company signed an agreement through its Pharmaceutical Pharmaceutical Industries Limited at Aga Pharma with Glaxo Smith Klein Saudi Health Care Limited in Riyadh, Manufacturing at Aga Pharma Factory in Saudi Arabia.
According to Arab Net, the chemical said in a statement that the agreement aims to take advantage of the expertise of Glaxo Smith Klein Health Care in the Consumer Health Care Sector and ensure the transfer of technology for consumer health care products to Saudi Arabia, followed by a trade-scale production at Aga Pharma factory.
The duration of the agreement was 5 years, with a total revenue of about 100 million riyals, which means increasing production capacity, and thus is expected to contribute to more employment opportunities for Saudis.
The company noted that there were no related parties in this Convention.
Commenting on the Convention, Chief Executive Officer Engineer Thamer Al-Muhaid said that this strategic cooperation would contribute to the goal of localizing the drug sector, stressing that Aga Pharma aims to provide high-quality pharmaceutical and pharmaceutical products for global drug companies in the region.
