And Tadawul announced, earlier, that trading in the market will resume after the holiday, as of Sunday, July 2, 2023.
The TASI index ended its last session before the Eid al-Adha holiday, with a decrease of 0.06%, to return to its losses after two sessions of increase, in light of the negative performance of the telecommunications and banking sectors.
The general index recorded record highs in the first half of 2023, in light of a positive performance in the second quarter. Backed by June gains.
Mubasher statistics revealed that the TASI index increased by 9.36% during the first half, adding 980.52 points to its balance, with a jump of 11,458.98 points, compared to 10,478.46 points by the end of 2022.
The market was able to record market gains amounting to 1.03 trillion riyals, bringing the market capital of shares listed on Tadawul to 10.907 trillion riyals, compared to 9.878 trillion riyals by the end of 2022.
