Kuwait Stock Exchange announced the suspension of its business next Sunday, January 2, 2022, on the occasion of the New Year's Day.
The Stock Exchange said in a statement on its official website, today, Monday, that official working hours will resume as usual next Monday, January 3, 2022.
The Kuwait Stock Exchange started trading today in a mixed way, as its general index fell 0.03% at exactly 9:45 am Kuwait time.
The premier market declined in the meantime by 0.06%, while the main index rose 0.04%, and the major 50 rose by 0.12%.
The stock exchange's trading volumes so far amounted to 38.7 million shares, which came with the implementation of 1,365 transactions that achieved liquidity of 5.8 million dinars.
