The Dubai Financial Market has set October 18 as the date for the launch of the future stock contract trading platform.
According to CNBC Arabia, the market explained that there are 10 brokerage firms obtaining trading membership in addition to 4 companies that support the platform as technology and data providers.
The Dubai market announced last September that it intends to launch a new platform for trading stock derivatives by trading futures contracts as derivatives for 5 companies listed on the market, which is Emaar Properties, Dubai Islamic Bank, Emirates NBD, Emaar Development, and Emaar Malls will also trade over different periods, ranging from one month to two months and three months.
