The losses of the Saudi Ground Services Company for Ground Services decreased by 28.24% in the second quarter of 2022, to about 66.85 million riyals, compared to losses of about 93.16 million riyals in the second quarter of 2021.


And according to Arab Net, the company, in a statement, attributed the decrease in losses as a result of an increase in the company’s sales by 120.9 million riyals, or 32.3%, due to the continuous recovery of the aviation sector as a result of the announcement of the lifting of precautionary measures to limit the spread of the Corona pandemic.


It added that this had a positive impact on the decrease in operating losses to reach losses of 11.3 million riyals, compared to losses of 63.4 million riyals for the same quarter of last year.


On a quarterly basis, ground services losses increased by 251.6% in the second quarter of 2022, compared to losses of about 19.01 million riyals in the first quarter of 2022.


During the first half of this year, losses of ground services decreased by 21.8% to about 85.86 million riyals, compared to losses of about 109.85 million riyals in the first half of 2021.
