US President Donald Trump on Monday repeated his call to the Federal Reserve to cut interest rates.

According to Reuters, Trump said: The US central bank is slow to move and should be more active.

Trump's comments did not refer to the current outbreak of the Corona virus, but it comes as investor concerns remain in the wake of a sharp fall in global markets last week amid the spread of the virus and their aspiration for a possible global rate cut.

In a Tweet on Twitter, Trump also said that the United States should have the lowest interest rate.
