Real estate activities in the Department of Lands and Properties in Dubai achieved more than 1.92 billion dirhams during the current week.
According to the Emirates News Agency, the department witnessed 253 sales of 441.82 million dirhams, of which 18 were sales of land of 134.23 million dirhams, and 235 sales of apartments and villas amounted to 307.59 million dirhams.
The most important land sales came with a value of 55 million dirhams in the region of Boukdra, followed by a pledge of 13 million dirhams in the region of Mu'aisam I, followed by a pledge of the same value in the first Al-Safa region.
The first Mu'aisim topped the regions in terms of number of sales, with 3 sales recorded at a value of 26 million dirhams, followed by the third Habiya region with two sales of 7 million dirhams, and a third in the sixth pillar with a sales amount of two million dirhams.
With regard to the most important sales of apartments and villas, a sales amount of 11 million dirhams came to the Palm Jumeirah area, as the most important sales were followed by a pledge of 6 million dirhams in the first Jumeirah area, and finally a pledge of 5 million dirhams in the Dubai Marina area.
Dubai Marina area topped the areas in terms of number of sales of apartments and villas, with 31 sales sold at a value of 69 million dirhams, followed by the first Jumeirah region with 27 sales pledging with a value of 60 million dirhams, and a third in Al Merkadh with 23 sales of 43 million dirhams.
Mortgages recorded a value of 1.39 billion dirhams, including 30 mortgages of land with a value of 1.33 billion dirhams, the most important of which was in the Jebel Ali First region, with a value of 775 million dirhams, and another in the first mall area, with a value of 350 million dirhams.
As for the donations, it witnessed the registration of 18 donations, at a value of 85 million dirhams, the most important of which was in the Riffa area, with a value of 18 million dirhams, and another in the Al-Muteena region, with a value of 16 million dirhams.
