German Chancellor Angela Merkel indicated that European Union leaders may not reach an agreement on the third day of talks to support the EU’s € 750 billion economy, which was affected by a virus Corona.

According to Arabiya Net, Merkel said in Brussels: There is a great deal of goodwill, but there are many situations as well. I will do my best but it may not be possible.

The leaders of the European Union had failed yesterday to reach an agreement on the plan to revive the European economy of 750 billion euros, against the backdrop of protests from the Nordic countries, led by the Netherlands.

Union leaders will meet again today to resume negotiations. Discussions have stalled over the ratio that will be allocated between grants and loans, as the project provides for granting 350 billion loans, and 400 billion in aid that the recipient countries do not have to return.

The Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden and Austria prefer to provide loans instead of aid, in exchange for France and Germany stressing the percentage that will be allocated as grants.
