< Toyota Motor Corporation, the Japanese automaker, announced that it will suspend production of cars in its factories in Brazil until the twenty-second of June at least.


In doing so, Toyota joins the American General Motors Corporation, which also expects to resume production in the same month.


And the production of most of the auto manufacturers in Brazil, the largest auto producer in South America, is currently suspended due to the Corona virus crisis.


No major manufacturers in Brazil, such as the Fiat Chrysler and Volkswagen, have yet to announce a date for resuming production.
