The Crown Prince of Dubai announced an economic stimulus package worth 500 million dirhams to support the local economy of Dubai, bringing the total stimulus packages this year to 6.8 billion dirhams.
According to Arabiya Net, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum said on Twitter: The fourth package includes exempting advertising companies from the advertising permits fees of the Dubai Municipality for a period 3 months, and extension of licenses for nursery clinics and health professionals for a period of 6 months.
It also includes reducing the rent by 50% for nurseries on the lands belonging to the Knowledge Fund Foundation, exempting special immunities from commercial license renewal fees, and supporting the taxi sector by adjusting the calculation Franchise allowance to enhance liquidity.
The new package includes the extension of a package of previous initiatives until the end of 2020, most notably, the abolition of delay fines for all government services, the freezing of market fees for all sectors, and the freezing of the application of ticket fees, Freezing the application of retail sector permits until the end of November 2020.
