Facebook launched its payment and money transfer service on WhatsApp in Brazil.

According to Al Bayan newspaper, the site launched a Facebook wallet on WhatsApp messaging in November in the United States.

This is the first time that WhatsApp can be used to pay for companies or transfer funds to individuals on the app’s name list.

Users will have to own a Visa or MasterCard issued by certain banks. There will be a need to enter a six-digit code or identification number to validate the payment process.

These transactions that acquire eBay from Facebook from partner groups such as PayPal in the United States and Cielo in Brazil are handled.

Facebook explained in a statement that sending money or making a purchase on WhatsApp + is free. Companies will pay a commission similar to that payable on credit card transactions.

Facebook intends to gradually make this service available on its range of other applications, including Instagram, to include other countries.
