The share of Burjeel Holding Company jumped by 15% at the beginning of the company's first trading session in the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange, as the share rose to a price of 2.3 dirhams compared to the subscription price of two dirhams.
Burjeel Holding shares topped the volumes and values of trading at the beginning of today's session, as the share trading volumes amounted to nearly 70 million shares, achieving liquidity with a value of approximately 161 million dirhams.
The shares of Burjeel Holding Company were listed and started trading on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, as of today, with the trading symbol BURJEEL, after 11% of its capital, equivalent to 550.73 million shares, was offered.
The subscription for Burjeel Holding shares began on September 30, by offering the aforementioned percentage and shares, divided into two tranches (individuals and professional investors), while the subscription ended on Tuesday, October 4, 2022.
The final offer price of the share was set at two dirhams per share, i.e. at the lower end of the price range, bringing the market value of Burjeel Holding upon listing to about 10 billion dirhams.
The total demand for Burjeel Holding's subscription amounted to more than 32 billion dirhams, to be covered by about 29 times. The offering will result in total revenues of 1.1 billion dirhams for the company and the participating seller upon settlement.
Upon listing on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, VBS Healthcare Holdings BVT Limited will continue to own a controlling interest of 70% of Burjeel Holdings.
