Global HP has revealed that it plans to lay off between 4,000 and 6,000 employees over the next few years.
HP is the latest technology company to reveal plans to reduce its workforce, after several companies revealed similar plans in the past period, CNBC Arabia reported.
The total number of employees at HP in October last year reached 51,000 levels, and in 2019 it announced that it intended to cut between 7,000 and 9,000 jobs.
On the other hand, HP revealed its quarterly business results for the first fiscal quarter ending on October 31, 2022, as the results showed that the company's revenues declined by 0.8% on an annual basis, to reach $14.8 billion.
HP expects to achieve adjusted earnings per share for the current fiscal year at levels ranging between $3.20 to $3.50 per share.
