Oman Energy Group (OQ) is studying the local listing of some energy assets in the local market in the Sultanate.
The Omani group's acting chief commercial officer said the company is considering listing some assets for upstream and downstream operations.
Hilal bin Ali al-Kharusi told Reuters that the group had no plans to float the parent company now.
Al-Kharousi added: We are currently reviewing some assets in upstream operations and some in downstream operations, especially in the service part of it.
CNBC Arabia has previously said that Oman is pressing ahead with a long-awaited offering of a minority stake in the National Oil Company of Oman in The local money market.
