According to Arab Net, Emirates Airlines added that the Omicron mutant will cause severe shocks to the aviation sector globally.

Emirates' chief commercial officer, Adnan Kazim, had expected the airline to fully operate its fleet and regain 100% of its global network of destinations in the next fiscal year, which Starting April 1, 2022.

Kazim said that this comes in light of the increasing demand for travel to various destinations, and the continuation of countries to open their airports and lift restrictions on air traffic and travel.

Kazem indicated that Emirates Airlines currently covers nearly 90% of its pre-pandemic destinations, including most major destinations, with the continued closure of some airports.
