The financial statements of Kuwait's Jazeera Airways showed that the company had turned to losses in the first half of this year compared to the same period in 2019, due to the repercussions of the Coronavirus pandemic.

The company said in a statement to the Kuwaiti Stock Exchange today, Thursday, that the losses for the period are estimated at 9.95 million dinars compared to the profits of the same period last year amounting to 6.22 million dinars.

The company recorded losses of 6.02 million dinars in the first quarter of this year, compared to profits of 1.47 million dinars for the same period last year.
The company also incurred losses of 3.93 million dinars during the second quarter of 2020, compared to the profits for the same period in 2019, which amounted to 4.75 million dinars.
