Al Jazeera Airways' financial statements showed the company's transformation to profitability in the first nine months of this year, compared to losses for the same period in 2020.

According to the company's results for the Kuwaiti Stock Exchange, the profits for the period amounted to 70,613 thousand dinars, compared to losses for the first nine months of last year, which amounted to 15.542 million dinars.

The company's results also turned to profitability in the third quarter of this year, at a value of 11.764 million dinars, compared to losses of about 5.596 million dinars in the same period of the previous year.

The company said in a statement to the stock exchange that the significant improvement in results during the comparative periods is mainly due to the increase in operating revenues.

The total operating income of the company in the first nine months of this year amounted to about 44.272 million dinars, compared to 32.778 million dinars in the same period in 2020, an increase of 44% .
