The General Assembly of Banque Saudi Fransi approved, in its meeting held yesterday, Sunday, the recommendation of the bank's board of directors regarding the distribution of cash dividends to shareholders for the first half of 2021, amounting to 779.97 million riyals, at 0.65 riyals per share, which represents 6.5% of the nominal value of the share.
The bank's general assembly also approved the board of directors' recommendation to distribute cash dividends for the second half of 2021 at 0.85 riyals per share, with a total amount of 1,019.96 million riyals, representing 8.5% of The nominal value of the share.
This brings the total dividends distributed to shareholders for the past fiscal year, amounting to 1,799.93 million riyals, at 1.50 riyals per share, equivalent to 15% of the nominal value of the share.
The general assembly also agreed to disburse an amount of 8.049 million riyals as a bonus to members of the Board of Directors for the last fiscal year ending on December 31, 2021.
The bank stated that the general assembly agreed to authorize the board of directors to distribute interim dividends on a semi-annual or quarterly basis for the current fiscal year 2022.
