According to the data of the Qatar Planning and Statistics Authority, the total value of exports at the end of the second quarter of 2021 amounted to about 71.1 billion riyals, an increase of 88.1% compared to the corresponding period of last year, While merchandise imports recorded a growth of 11.2% on an annual basis to about 24.8 billion riyals.

Japan, South Korea and China are still the main destination for Qatari exports of liquefied natural gas, petroleum gas, condensate and petrochemicals, while the United States, China and Germany are the countries of origin for commodity imports. to Qatar.
