Pfizer CEO Albert Burla said Monday that the coronavirus will continue to spread for many years, and that shutdowns will end after the current wave.
According to Arab Net, Burla added that vaccines against Covid-19 are safe and effective for children.
He told French BFM TV that Pfizer has a plan to invest 520 million euros ($593.7 million) in France over 5 years to help tackle Covid-19.
He added that Pfizer has a partnership with the French company Novasep to develop an anti-coronavirus treatment.
Pfizer had said that its anti-coronavirus drug showed very positive results.
And Pfizer said, in a previous statement on its website, that the final results of testing its oral anti-coronavirus drug, on 2,246 adults registered at this stage, showed that it significantly reduces the risk of death or hospitalization by 89%. /p>
