Disney and Marvel Studios' "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings" grossed an estimated $71.4 million at the domestic box office in China over the past three days.
This constituted the second highest opening revenue for any movie released during the pandemic period, and the highest for a movie released during the Labor Day holiday, according to (Al Arabiya.net).
Black Widow currently holds the title of highest-grossing opening film during the pandemic at $80 million, and the previous record holder for the highest weekend release was Halloween. for 2007, which grossed $26.3 million during its first three days in theaters domestically.
Internationally, Shang-Chi recorded another $56.2 million in ticket sales, bringing its estimated global total for Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays to $127.6 million.
It is worth noting that the film has not yet been approved for release in China.
