An Egyptian train arrives in Aswan in 4 hours

Egypt plans to construct a new express train from 6th of October City to Aswan Governorate.

According to Arabiyanet, this train will travel the distance of 850 km in 4 hours.

On the fourteenth of this month, Egypt signed a memorandum of understanding with the German company Siemens to implement a $ 23 billion high-speed train line linking eastern Egypt with the northern coast.

During the first phase, the electric railway line will extend from Ain Sokhna on the Red Sea to the new city of El Alamein on the northern coast, passing through the new administrative capital being constructed east of Cairo. .

The Egyptian Minister of Transport said that the project will contribute to linking the new administrative capital and new cities with a rail network to transport passengers and goods through a fast, modern and safe means of transport.
