The Gulf Cable and Electrical Industries Company announced the award of a tender to a subsidiary of cables in Jordan, with a value of 1.1 million dinars ($3.74 million).
In a statement to the Kuwait Stock Exchange, today, Sunday, Kablat said that the tender relates to the supply of aluminum overhead line connectors to the Irbid Electricity Company in Jordan.
The company indicated that the tender will achieve operating profits by 5% to 7% during 2022 and 2023.
Kablet announced in the middle of last week that the company had received a purchase order from a customer worth 3.671 million dinars; For the supply of low and medium pressure cables.
The company's profits rose by 71% in the first half of this year; To reach 4.413 million dinars, compared to profits of 4.382 million dinars for the same period in 2020.
