In a statement to the Kuwait Stock Exchange, today, Wednesday, KAMCO said that the investment is in 3 office properties in the United Kingdom, with a total amount of 19.4 million pounds (8.1 million dinars). .
It clarified that the financial impact of the deal on the consolidated balance sheet of KAMCO Investment Company is an increase in non-current assets held for the purpose of sale by an amount of 8.1 million dinars.
KAMCO indicated that the abovementioned investment is expected to yield a net annual return of approximately 8%.
The company turned profitable in the first half of this year at a value of 6.31 million dinars, compared to losses in the first half of 2020 of 3.89 million dinars.
