Egypt resumes air traffic on the first of July

Egypt intends to resume air traffic at all airports as of July 1, gradually with a number of countries.

Tourism activity returns

For his part, the Egyptian Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Dr. Khaled Al-Anani, announced the resumption of the incoming tourism movement to three governorates, South Sinai and the Red Sea, and Matrouh, starting from the beginning of July, stressing that the arrival of tourists is not an Egyptian decision only.

Al-Anani explained the regulations of the hotel establishments, which came on top of not opening any hotel except after obtaining a license from the Ministry of Tourism and Health, stressing that all decisions will be taken towards any violation In hotels.

The Egyptian government provided a set of incentives in the context of restoring travel and tourism activities, as follows: -

- Canceling tourist visas for foreigners coming to tourist governorates until October 31, 2020.

- Extend the current flight stimulus program until October 29, 2020.
