Egypt targets total investments for the petroleum sector amounting to 65.3 billion pounds, of which 48.7 billion pounds are for extraction activities, and about 16.6 billion pounds are for petroleum refining activities, at a rate of about 75% and 25% respectively in the plan for the year 21 / 2022.

The Egyptian Minister of Planning and Economic Development Hala Al-Saeed revealed, in her statements yesterday, Monday, on the occasion of reviewing the petroleum sector's targets in the plan for the current fiscal year 21/2022, to increase production in the oil sector. Crude oil and gas extractions and the petroleum refining industry increased by 10% at current prices to about 1.31 trillion pounds, and the output of extractive and petroleum refining activities increased to about 710 billion pounds at current prices in the plan year, compared to .642.5 billion pounds in 20/2021, achieving a growth rate of 10.5%. p>

Al-Saeed indicated that the plan for the year 21 / 2022 includes the production of about 3.44 million cubic feet of crude oil, condensate and butane, about 2.6 trillion cubic feet of natural gas, and 4 37 million tons of petrochemical products, and 13 million tons of mineral ores.
