The first flight of EgyptAir to Kuwait airport took off on Sunday morning, after a complete stoppage of flights between Egypt and Kuwait due to the outbreak of the new Corona virus.

An official source at EgyptAir said that the Boeing 787 had taken off amid full implementation of all the precautionary measures that EgyptAir followed on all its flights, in addition to adhering to In full with the conditions announced by the Kuwaiti authorities, with regard to the certificates approved to receive vaccines for the Corona virus as a condition for passengers to enter Kuwait.

The source stated, according to (Al Arabiya.net), that the second flight of EgyptAir to Kuwait is scheduled to take off this afternoon, as the company has obtained the approval of the authorities. The Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Ahram reported that it operates two flights daily between Cairo and Kuwait airports, with a capacity of 440 seats, at the current stage.

Egypt Air had announced the extension of the validity of tickets for its flights to Kuwait, which were issued since March 19, 2020 to December 31, 2021, with the exemption of these tickets from fees for changing dates Reservation.

On the other hand, the first flight of the Kuwaiti airline is scheduled to arrive at Cairo airport at 2:30 this afternoon, in its first flight after the resumption of air traffic between Egypt and Kuwait.
