The profits of Etihad Etisalat Mobily increased by 47.5% to reach, after zakat and tax, about 360 million riyals in the second quarter of 2022, compared to about 244 million riyals in the second quarter of 2021.
According to Arab Net, the company said in a statement that the increase in profits in the second quarter of this year, on an annual basis, is due to several reasons, including an increase in revenues by 4.6% to about 3.9 billion riyals in the second quarter of 2022, compared to 3.7 billion riyals in the same quarter of 2021.
She added that this is mainly due to the growth of wholesale and business sector sales, in addition to the growth of the fiber-optic subscriber base and the increase in the customer base.
Mobily indicated that the total profit increased by 8.7% to reach 2.3 billion riyals in the second quarter of the fiscal year 2022, compared to 2.1 billion riyals for the same quarter of the previous year, mainly due to the improvement in revenues.
On a quarterly basis, Mobily's net profit increased by 12.85% in the second quarter of 2022, compared to a net profit of about 319 million riyals in the first quarter of 2022.
During the first half of 2022, Mobily's net profit increased by 44.47% to 679 million riyals after zakat and tax, compared to a net profit of about 470 million riyals in the first half of 2021.
