"Mitsubishi" contracts with "Nissan Egypt" to assemble its cars locally

The Japanese car giant Mitsubishi contracted to use a production line at the Nissan Egypt factory to manufacture its models in the Egyptian market.

According to Al-Borsa newspaper, sources said that Mitsubishi is scheduled to start its first steps for local manufacturing in Egypt through transport vehicles, which the company has great experience with and will sell The car at competitive prices suitable for the market will enable it to acquire a meaningful market share.

She added that the company, upon its success in the local manufacturing of the transport vehicle, will be followed by the manufacture of other categories such as the private cars, which are highly popular with local consumers.

and explained that the two companies had held more than one meeting over the past months to reach a partnership agreement in the new manufacturing process.

and the sources stated that a number of other European companies are currently negotiating with the Arab Organization for Industrialization with the aim of local manufacturing as well and benefiting from the tax exemption granted to it under its own law.
