The National Electricity Transmission Company, affiliated to the Saudi Electricity Company and the Saline Water Conversion Corporation, has signed 4 agreements to feed desalination loads in: Al-Shuqaiq, Ras Al-Khair, Arafat, and Rabigh , At an estimated cost of 923.4 million riyals.

According to a statement seen by (Namazon site) today, Monday, the agreement was signed by the two sides, Engineer Ali bin Abdul Rahman Al-Hazmi, Governor of the General Organization for Desalination, and Engineer Ibrahim bin Fahd Al-Jarbu, CEO of Electricity Transmission.

The total loads of the four projects are estimated at (537.7 MVA), and the scope of work includes the construction of a centralized effort station (380/132 kV), and an expansion Two central stations by adding two voltage transformers (380 / 13.8 kV) for each station, and establishing two voltage substations (132 / 13.8 kV), and linking them to the electrical network.
