Aldar Properties achieved a net profit growth of 20% compared to 2020, after announcing its preliminary business results for the year 2021.
According to Arabiya Net, the company, which is listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, said in a statement that net profits amounted to 2.3 billion dirhams last year, compared to 1.9 billion dirhams during 2020.
The company's revenues amounted to 8.576 billion dirhams last year, compared to 8.39 billion dirhams during 2020, an increase of 2.2%.
It is noteworthy that Aldar Properties has signed an agreement to acquire the commercial center Al Hamra Mall in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, at a value of 410 million dirhams.
Aldar Investments has the right to develop more than 11,000 additional square meters within the total floor area of the mall.
This right comes with an option to acquire 7,400 square meters for retail and commercial uses. The deal represents the first acquisition of Aldar Investments outside the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
